Dan + Jen :: MARRIED!!
Dan proposed on their way to Pennsylvania in the middle of an argument. He was trying to throw Jen off about when he was going to propose, and if he was even ready to get married. They pulled over at a gas station and Dan convinced Jen to go on a walk with him. She agreed, grudgingly, refusing to hold his hand. He decided it was time to stop messing with her and end the argument. He got down on his knee right there, unplanned, on what happened to be the grounds of the Battle of Antietam, the bloodiest battle of the Civil War. I love the un-perfectness of the story.
Dan and Jen love backpacking, being nurses, and each other. They were married in Kingspot, TN outside the Allandale Mansion and then partied in a barn. Thanks 1,000 times to Jamie Clayton for second shooting with me!
And then…party time.
