Thanks so much to Jamie Clayton (the ginger on the right) for running the partybooth!

Ain’t no party(booth) like a Beau and Lindsay party(booth) ’cause a Beau and Lindsay party(booth) gets topless!

Coming soon :: the rest of the proof that this was one of the best weddings ever.
Make A Comment topI love when clients do something unique with their partybooth. Phil and Colleen chose to use African wax print fabric found and various locations (far right print found in Zambia with Phil’s mom, and the other two were found from an African fabric dealer in Chicago). The vision for the photos came from various sources of inspiration (here, here, and here to name a few!) In Phil’s words:
I consider the booth was an outgrowth of my previous line of work. Keita has been an influence on me for many years, so it’s inevitably a result of his work. Colleen and I saw a pretty sweet Nairobi street photographs exhibition when we were there on our trip, so it grew out of that, too.
Super high five to Ben Massey for running the partybooth!

The father of the bride did a disco performance as the character Tom Ravolta during the reception (photos coming soon). These “security guards” escorted him to the dance floor and were a hit the rest of the night. I’m not sure why…

…in black and white because I felt like it.

My pregnant BFF was there so I had to get some partybooth action with her…

Big thanks to Rachel Webb for running the partybooth!

This is what I look like working hard at a wedding reception…

Part one of three from Damian + Carla’s New Years Eve wedding bash.
The set up for this partybooth was a little different. We were put in a small room to the side of the dance floor without space to set up our nine foot backdrop. We took advantage of the plain doors and a couch and Mark rocked it out, proving that all you need for a partybooth is a party (and some sexy lighting equipment). Here are some of my favorites!

Damian and Carla had a wardrobe change during the reception and solidified that their awesomeness is off the charts. Velvet jacket and bow tie? Yes please.

Make A Comment topThe day after Mark rocked and rolled the Vagnsnes wedding PARTYBOOTH, he rocked and rolled it all over again at Isaac and Cristina’s wedding!

I’m not quite sure what’s going on here…

Oh yes, that’s Jen and JD on the left, my first wedding couple ever!
