Volunteer Traditions

I’m a promoter. I “fall in love” with things and try to tell as many people as I can. Music, movies, restaurants, photography stuff, and more recently, fashion. This is the main reason why I started a second blog, so I could have a place to promote all things that I think are awesome. Today, I’ll be using this blog to promote a company “where state pride meets quality” – Volunteer Traditions.

Volunteer Traditions began four years ago when tailgating friends, fed up that South Carolina seemed to have their half moon and palmetto everywhere, decided to make belts with the Tennessee flag on it. People loved the quality products of their state, and Mason (one of the coolest guys ever), expanded the brand to include additional products and states, focusing on making apparel people can wear proudly, wherever they go. From bow ties to dog collars, Volunteer Traditions products do live up to the standards customers have for their state.

Based out of Nashville, I was able to meet Mason through Caroline Tigner, and quickly realized why this company was so awesome and successful: the man behind it. Mason is the kind of guy you love to be around, to hear talk about business and life, and to support. I was excited when he asked me to take some new promo shots for the website, and Mark was excited when he got to “model” for it.

To all my Tennessee people out there, this line has the most products to offer, so go eat your heart out.

hey Caroline! first off, i love your photographs & second, i’m so glad you wrote about Mason, the man behind the product. He works really hard on getting GOOD products, but doesn’t forget that it’s about relating to people along the way. It’s easy to promote something, but when you have a guy like Mason who has a big heart, it’s hard not to want to promote him too. Good people & good products! what more could you want?

    Thanks

p.s. love the long sleeve t’s

Love this company and own just about everything they make, the Tennessee stuff that is. Always like seeing small creative companies recognized.
