Remember that time two years ago that I thought I was cool and showed up to a wedding completely unprepared but thought I was prepared and took some photos that I thought were awesome but that now haunt me and then I drove home and called Mark and said “this is what I want to do” so I made an ugly website and a “logo” and tried to mimic what every other photographer was doing because I didn’t know what the heck I was doing but somehow booked clients and slowly started figuring out who I wanted to be as a photographer and now am pretty excited that I’m finally ME doing something I LOVE? Good times.

To celebrate those good times, besides writing a really long run-on sentence, I’m going to do a drawing for HALF OFF a session! I had fun last year getting entries and doing a “live drawing” so I’m excited for round two. Pass on the news to anyone you know who may be interested! Regardless of where you live, please feel free to enter! We can do out best to make it work :)

To enter comment below or email me the following info…

  • What kind of session you’re interested in

You have ONE WEEK to enter! I’ll blog the drawing one week from today so make sure to enter by 12:00 AM, AUGUST 17TH (EST BABY)

Love this giveaway! I’m entering – but I’ll also spread the word :)

Coincidentally, I’m entering for a 2nd wedding anniversary photo shoot (which I will be largely preggo for). We are trying to do a photo shoot every year around our anniversary.

Favorite song to dance to? Anything upbeat. I’m not much of a dancer, but the hubs hispanic roots are trying to change that about me!

Yeah! Super fun idea. We’d love a family session, never had one and 3 kids later I think it’s time. Oh dancing, not pretty. But the kids and I can get down to a little old school Michael Jackson if we have to.

we’re glad you decided to follow your dream because we think you’re pretty cool :) anything wedding-esque would be something we’re interested in…maybe a partybooth? up to you! dancing is not dancing without 80s power ballads…

This is such a great idea!! I absolutely would love the chance to win one of your photo sessions half off. I would LOVE a family session with my three children. We have never had the opportunity to be photographed as a family professionally. Not that I can dance by any means but I think “The Last Dance” by Donna Summer is a classic dance song. You can’t help but get dance fever when you hear that song. Good luck to everyone entering. :-)

Names: Alyssa and Ryan Awesome Jarrell — type of shoot– Awesome and beyond couples shoot for two people who never take photos of each other especially not together and the last time they had photos together Alyssa’s hair was really short and was wearing a wedding dress. WE love dancing, and our dancing is spectacular. Right now I like dancing and stomping to You and I by Ingrid Michaelson.

    Hi Caroline! :)

So, Brian and I (yes- Brian and Ryan…we know. it’s ridiculous.) would LOVE for you to be our engagement and/or wedding photographer! That being said, for this shoot, we’d love to enter for an engagement shoot. Something neat. Maybe japanese anime themed? Just a thought.

    kidding.

Our favorite song(s) to dance* to is anything by Van Morrison (our wedding dance will be to “Sweet Thing”).

*brian engaging in some movement that resembles a constipated jig, and myself, trying to remain graceful all the while.

    pick us pick us! :)

haaaa…i remember the video(s) for your last live drawing…especially the bloopers! As my wedding approaches I am trying to avoid making any decisions anytime soo, so this would make for an easy wedding photographer decision! You da bomb girl! ps mark is on fb. wowza aint we all lucky…okay…back to reality. My favorite song to dance to is anything by poison…my dad ingrained in me this horrible guilty pleasure, but i love “nothin’ but a good time.” my father and I will be doing our dad/daughter at my wedding to a slow poison song. like it saiddd terrible pleasure…in my blood.
